About this event
In Series opens at Relay on Friday, December 4.
Ten artists bring contemporary ceramic sculpture together through repetition and seriality: multiples and variations, recurring subjects, forms and gestures made again and again. The differences show up in material, process, scale, surface, and the hand of the artist. The exhibition sits in the space between repetition and variation, where forms and ideas shift and take on new meaning with each iteration.
Opening night is Friday, December 4 from 6 to 10pm. Come see the work and meet the artists.
The show runs December 4 through 19. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday, 12 to 6pm.
Closing reception and artist talk Saturday, December 19 at 6pm.
