- ➤ School officials have discussed a plan for E.J. Martinez Elementary students to share a campus with Milagro Middle School, which has upset parents and staff who call for the district to raze and rebuild the facility—SFPS has not finalized a decision. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Researchers from WWF, Sustainable Waters, and the University of New Mexico released a report on Thursday that found only 48% of water in the Rio Grande basin is naturally replenished—threatening farms, cities, and ecosystems on both sides of the border. The study calls for urgent policy changes to protect water supplies for 15 million people and nearly 2 million acres of farmland. KOB 4
