  • Photojournalist Gabriela Campos from New Mexico has her lowrider images featured in a Smithsonian exhibit—curators first approached her five years ago about the show which also highlights work by Estevan Oriol.  Santa Fe New Mexican

  • Conservationist Jane Goodall, known for her work with chimps, said she finds Santa Fe a welcoming place to relax—she especially admires the local animal shelter.  Santa Fe New Mexican

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Water courts will be reorganized into three regions—previously a water judge handled cases in all 13 judicial districts in the state.  Santa Fe New Mexican
  • Governor Lujan Grisham signed two special session bills today — four of the five bills sent by the Legislature already received her approval — and is still deliberating on a weakened vaccine bill.  Santa Fe New Mexican

    Santa Fe Pro Musica's Artistic Director and violinist, Colin Jacobsen, is joined by Gabriel Kahane, conductor, pianist, and singer, and Anthony McGill, clarinetist on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 3pm. We present our Season Opening Orchestra Concert, featuring musical pieces by Dvořák and Kahane.
