New Mexico veterans in Santa Fe shared personal reflections today on how 9/11 changed their lives during commemorative events marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks.

Last week, Rio Grande Return volunteers built artificial beaver dams on the Rio Cebolla in the Jemez Mountains to help extend water flow in the Rio Grande & prepare for wildfire response.

City officials say water conservation measures (including indirect potable reuse) are securing Santa Fe’s limited water supply and helping the community move away from previous shortages.

This ongoing effort demonstrates a commitment to sustainable water management.
