  • The First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe is launching a pilot Competency Diversion Program to help suspects with severe mental illness by linking them to treatment and services—available to those charged with nonviolent misdemeanors and felonies except for DWI—so that participants may have their charges dismissed once they complete a navigation plan. The court is hosting a community event on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court to explain the program.  KOB 4
