EDUCATION NEWS

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Ron Trujillo, running for mayor again, said he will restore the obelisk and improve basic services—he discussed his background and key issues with reporter Daniel J. Chacón.  Santa Fe New Mexican
  • Santa Fe’s mayor floated a plan to raise the city minimum wage to $17.50 and proposed changes to the living wage formula that would boost it to $21.49 by 2035—city officials will review the proposal.  Santa Fe New Mexican
  • Faviola Chavez will join Santa Fe as the new affordable housing director on Sept 8 — she replaces longtime director Alexandra Ladd who left in July 2024.  Santa Fe New Mexican
