  • This week in Santa Fe, music lovers have many events to choose from—Naomi Stinnett’s Lost Girls show is happening today at Tumbleroot Brewery, the Downtown Blues Jam will run Tuesday, Aug. 12 at Evangelo’s, and Raashan Ahmad’s Wonderful Fantastic Hip-Hop Festival featuring Big Daddy Kane is set for Friday, Aug. 8.   • New Mexico’s senators have secured nearly $400 million in federal funding for military base improvements, rural fire departments and education projects as the Senate passed key appropriations bills before the August recess.
