Wally Funk, a native of New Mexico and trailblazing pilot who flew into space at age 82, died Wednesday night at her home in Texas at age 87 + she will be honored at the International Space Hall of Fame at the New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo.
New Mexico Gas Company is launching a three-year program approved July 2 to offer energy efficient rebates (up to $500 for water heaters and $625 for furnace or boiler replacements, including new rebates for farms, greenhouses and crop operations) while adding an average $2.50 fee on bills starting July 28.
Regional behavioral health reforms have been approved to expand access to services, following a law passed in 2025 that required regional plans for the area.
The changes will affect Santa Fe, Rio Arriba & Los Alamos counties.
