Native Fashion Week is hosting two separate events in Santa Fe + both events will feature fashion shows, parties and other activities that promote Indigenous designs.

Organizers say the shows are planned to celebrate local culture.

Santa Fe Office of Economic Development is developing a new strategic plan—Economic Development Director Johanna Nelson said she hopes the plan will be finished by the end of 2025.

Santa Fe received $525,000 for a new fire engine and $1.9 million for a new ladder truck — equipment that was not in the city council's planned budget — and officials say the funding has sparked debate over lobbying practices outside the council.
