  • New Mexico congressional delegates urged the Interior Department to leave national monuments—Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks, Rio Grande del Norte and Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks—alone, as a recent letter reported these sites are at risk of changes.  Santa Fe New Mexican
  • The state is reopening the Sun Bucks summer EBT program to give eligible families a $120 food benefit per child who is in the National School Lunch Program. Marisa Vigil from the New Mexico Health Care Authority said the program will send a card to the oldest eligible child and allow a new card to be issued when that child graduates or moves out.  KOB 4
