  • Fire crews across New Mexico and in the metro are preparing for extreme fire danger over the next few days.   • County commissioners and local activist Howard Hutchinson pushed resolutions that oppose using the 1906 Antiquities Act to set aside lands as national monuments—arguing that local control would better serve the community.
