  • New Mexico joined a lawsuit against the termination of public health grants—Attorney General Torrez warned the cuts would hurt infectious disease research and response statewide.  Santa Fe New Mexican
  • Allegra Love, a Santa Fe immigration attorney, recalled her work at a family detention center in Artesia and warned that plans to reopen detention facilities in Dilley and Karnes City and rumors of detaining immigrant families at Fort Bliss may lead to a repeat of harsh policies—especially as the border remains closed—urging community and congressional leaders to make a clear stand.
