- ➤ The New Mexico State Fire Marshal’s Office will break ground this month on a new $28 million fire training academy and memorial in Santa Fe that will train firefighters statewide, while the memorial garden honoring 43 fallen firefighters is due by December and the academy finishes in April next year.
