  • The Foster Alliance has expanded services in New Mexico, launching a mobile unit filled with free supplies such as beds, cribs & clothing for foster families. The nonprofit now plans to open a boutique location where families can pick out supplies while donations and volunteer support continue.  KOB 4

  • Albuquerque-based Pii Energy has launched its portable solar panel kit, the Edge 2000, in beta testing this month. The compact modular system (starting at $2,400) may soon help homeowners reduce monthly energy costs as the company works with state lawmakers on interconnection permits.  KOB 4
