STEAM Saturday

About this event

SFCM’S NEW STEAM Saturday brings hands-on discovery to the Museum on the first Saturday of every month! Join us for exciting experiments, creative challenges, and interactive activities that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Designed for curious minds of all ages, this monthly program encourages families to investigate, create, and learn together through the power of play!

Join us for World Soil Day!

Dig into a day of hands-on Earth science and creative exploration! Meet some amazing worms up close, experiment with erosion and landscape design in The Sandbox, and create your own Earth Layers Box to discover what lies beneath our feet. Plus, join Paseo Pottery for live pottery wheel demonstrations throughout the day and watch clay come to life before your eyes. Young artists can also get their hands dirty at an all-day hand-building station, where they’ll sculpt, paint, and take home their very own clay masterpiece. It’s a day packed with discovery, creativity, and muddy fun!

All STEAM Saturday programming is included in regular Museum admission.
