About this event

Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed their communities.

Please join us for the second annual Santa Fe Empty Bowls event where we will be feasting with our community and raising money for the GroundUp program at the Santa Fe Teen Center. The GroundUp program supports local food security by facilitating farming education and empowering teen stewards to sustainably grow fresh produce with and for their local community.

On Saturday, November 7th from 11:00am-2:00pm, you are invited to pick out a beautiful hand-crafted bowl made by a local artist, fill it with soup from local restaurants, and enjoy a meal with our community.

We’ll be serving soup and bread from La Choza, Jambo Cafe, Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen, High Mountain Cuisine, Sage Bakery, Bread Shop, and our very own Ground Up Garden Stewards. Tickets are $20-50 sliding scale and include a handmade bowl and meal. There is a place at the table for you.
