About this event

Hocus Focus is an active performing arts education program sponsored by The Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe .

Led by master magician and autism expert Kevin Spencer , the program brings 4-week residencies to special-needs and inclusive classrooms across Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Instead of public theater performances, it uses the art of magic as a tool to help students develop critical communication, motor, and cognitive skills.

For the 2026 season, the initiative continues to expand, serving hundreds of individuals annually. A special free community workshop is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026 , from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM at the Santa Fe Children's Museum .
