Glass Key Trio: Sublingual Vinyl Release Party

About this event

Glass Key Trio celebrates the release of Sublingual, the group's second full-length album and latest vinyl release - a new collection of original music blending jazz, classical, Americana, Balkan and Arabic music, and free improvisation.

Sublingual marks the addition of bassist Ben Wright to the trio, alongside guitarist and composer Jeremy Bleich and drummer Milton Villarrubia III. The record captures the trio stretching out and embracing the compositional development and spontaneous interplay that has become central to their sound.

Recorded with equal weight between composition and improvisation, Sublingual moves fluidly between carefully crafted songs, rhythmic excursions, world grooves, and open-ended conversations. The album draws on Americana, rock, free jazz, and world folk traditions.

Sublingual balances precision with looseness, allowing individual voices to emerge while maintaining the interplay of three musicians in deep dialogue. The result is a record that rewards focused and repeated listening.

Sublingual is out November 20, 2026 from Grasshopper Music on vinyl and as a digital download, available through Bandcamp and other streaming platforms.
