2 Lesser Known parts of Petroglyph National Monument

About this event

We will explore the Piedras Marcadas and Boca Negra Canyons. These are lesser-known parts of the Petroglyph National Monument in the Albuquerque area. The hiking is relatively flat with the exception of a single short steep and rocky section. Total hiking time about 2 1/2 hrs. After hiking we'll stop by the Pueblo Montano picnic area/trailhead to lunch and check out this small park's carvings. Then we'll drive back to Santa Fe.

We can meet for carpooling at the Santa Fe Fashion Outlet Mall right by the Tesla charging stations. The suggested carpool driver reimbursement is $10. Total driving miles about 113, total driving time is just under 2 hrs.
